Mountain Spirit intertwines fragrant dress, a dangerous late arrival, cloud-darkened weather, solitary height and futile longing. This setting sings beauty, hidden bamboo, cloud-below solitude and the closing wind and trees, then rewrites omitted thunder, ape calls and a fragrant gift into its variation. It can become a present-day mountain ballad without flattening the poem into a modern romance with settled identity, gender and roles. The 296-character tag brief calls it a Chu Ci mythic mountain-spirit ballad and requests a Dai ethnic female voice, ancient Chinese ritual song, hulusi, bamboo flute, guqin, soft ritual hand drum, deep forest, mountain rain and fragrant herbs; it hashes to 9dac7802e22bdcf562013906a0077c9eef25dc4824728462304a4091ab84c62f.
