Baidi Light Boat · Dai Amei
白帝轻舟·傣族阿妹
A dawn departure beneath coloured clouds compresses a thousand-li river journey into one day; the apes still call while the light boat has already crossed ten thousand mountains. Dai Amei carries Li Bai's complete quatrain into a contemporary southwest-landscape ballad while keeping today's cloud shadows, Jiangnan and singerly answer outside the poem's attribution.
WHY THIS WORK STAYS · BEYOND THE ARTWORK
Hear it whole first. Then read why it remains.
01 · SPEED WITHOUT NOISE
Four lines compress a thousand li into one day; the ear itself cannot catch the light boat
Early Departure from Baidi City places Baidi, coloured clouds, Jiangling and a one-day return on one descending river line. The calls from both banks continue even after the light boat has crossed the mountain ranges. Its speed does not need a loud beat: space, time and hearing fall out of alignment. The boat has moved forward while sound remains behind. This reading stays with the poem's language instead of manufacturing an exact itinerary, composition date or biographical legend that the track evidence cannot establish.
02 · FOUR LINES, REPETITION & ONE VARIANT
All four classical lines remain, with opening and closing repetitions; one documented textual variant stays visible
The source payload's [Original Poem] contains all four lines in order, from the dawn departure at Baidi to the light boat beyond ten thousand mountains, with no omission or rearrangement. The [Intro] repeats the first couplet and the [Final Refrain] repeats the last. This song uses 啼不住; Wikisource's Complete Tang Poems gives 啼不尽 in the main text and records 住 as a variant, so the dossier preserves the difference rather than silently rewriting it. Cloud shadow reaching the human world, a heart following water, a farewell lasting years, entrusting song to the river and Dai Amei's voice reaching Jiangnan are present-day lines, not words assigned to Li Bai.
SEVEN-DAY WINDOW · COMPLETE SONGS ONLY
Three days either side. Every ending intact.
These dates are not release dates; they are shared listening coordinates. Open any day and the Chinese and English editions land on the same verified master.
UTC · 91-DAY STABLE ROTATION · NO PERSONAL TRACKING
Not a chart. A daily promise to hear one work properly.
The rotation claims neither hottest, best nor newest, stores no personal taste profile and never recounts a work because it appears under another dated URL. The same stable order returns after ninety-one days.
