Not a collage around one famous phrase: four Wang Changling lines join eight by Li Bai
The source lyric sings all four lines of the second Lotus-Picking Song by Wang Changling, then all eight lines of Li Bai's poem with the same title. Wang's figures disappear among lotus leaves until their song reveals them; Li Bai extends the scene from women at Ruoye Stream to young men lingering beneath willows. Comparison with public Complete Tang Poems texts finds Wang's four lines unchanged. Li's block uses ‘stream-side’ and ‘fragrant sleeves’, while common witnesses read nearby-character variants and record ‘sleeves’ as an alternative to ‘fragrant lapels’. The page preserves those two loci rather than selling one witness as the sole true text.
