The salt remains, and so do we.
Mandarin folk-duet direction · hulusi, bamboo flute and an 80 BPM walking pulse
The section-labelled male and female words offer two views of one road: following horse bells and saving supper by a low fire. Stones grow brighter under years of repeated steps. The refrain allows walking and resting; progress need not forbid fatigue.
The 80 BPM folk-duet direction uses hulusi, bamboo flute, plucked lute, hand drum and upright bass, with strings opening later. Its rising-and-falling four-note hook is an arrangement idea. Alternating verses carry distance before a shared chorus brings the viewpoints together.
