Her handwriting remains; she does not. Both are true.

English parlour chamber-folk direction · cassette texture, female alto and light brushes

Copying a small hook and the tail of a y makes the handwriting lean alike, until paper cannot tell whose hand held it thirty years earlier. The last line refuses to let resemblance replace loss: the gesture and pause remain, but she does not. Memory can be close while admitting distance.

The 64 BPM parlour chamber-folk direction places felt piano, upright bass, cello, nylon guitar and barely audible brushes in a close cassette texture. An imagined pop-icon guest verse does not establish a verifiable performer, so no celebrity credit is added. The silvery alto concept and strolling pulse remain listening cues.

[Verse 1] I have been copying her handwriting the way the y comes down the little hook she always made when she wrote the name of town [Chorus] And the letters lean the same now the paper doesn't know which one of us was holding it thirty years ago [Verse 2] She wrote the grocery lists in pencil she wrote the cards in blue I have her hand, I have her pause I do not have her, that is true
