Miaoyu's purity, solitude and ordeal“Seeing through three springs” does not make the blossoms louder: it hears time passing inside their beauty. Fleeting Blossoms lets a quiet female lead speak and a distant male voice answer. Temple bell, bamboo flute, guqin-like plucked strings and soft cello leave the silence between phrases audible. Delicate color on silk moves from a spring courtyard toward autumn trees and a distant temple. The duet does not compete for a climax; it lets the wish for calm remain in the echo.
