The narrator pretends to study the blackboard while sketching someone beneath the homework. Years later, new windows and children’s laughter continue at the school; the unsent letter still glows. Memory needs no actual reunion to earn its place.

Lingwan’s Cantonese campus-ballad brief imagines piano, clean guitar, restrained strings and analogue synth warmth. Its 1980s atmosphere is a creative setting, not an author biography. The corridor returns unfinished words to listeners’ own memories.
