The tailor owes the baker, who owes a mother.

Highlife and cross-cultural duet direction · interlocking guitars, percussion and horns

Tailor, baker and mother form a circle of unfinished accounts. A bank warning meets a tailor who keeps taking orders. The humour lives between an official sign and everyday practice: a neighbourhood fable, not financial advice or a claim about a real community.

At 78 BPM, the West African highlife direction interlocks two clean guitars with congas, talking drum and soft horns. Duet phrasing adds Hindustani ornaments and Bollywood colour. This cross-cultural arrangement is not a traditional field recording, and the words remain English.
