Slower, a little slower still. Beyond the train window are rain-washed banana leaves and tea hills; inside is a melody we cannot bear to finish. If parting must come, may it be this beautiful.

Mandarin baroque-pop direction · harpsichord, horns and soft male voice
Mist and tiled roofs pass the window. The narrator hesitates to ask about tomorrow for fear of hearing goodbye. A flower seller remains under the platform lights, and a companion gives the narrator a white bloom. Years later, an old book seems to hold the whistle again. This journey leaves an encounter open. It is a lyric’s Yunnan, not a guide to an actual railway service.
The 96 BPM baroque-pop direction places harpsichord, twelve-string guitar, French horns, oboe and small strings around a soft male voice. Brushed movement and imagined bell-and-steam atmosphere turn the carriage into a little room worth staying in.
