The English source text joins a sip, a road and a moon. Petals drift away, yet an old song finds a heart on the road. The bridge turns from walking alone towards looking back; the singalong text brings two voices together. Hope and farewell are allowed to share the same space.
The public direction is explicitly an entirely instrumental solo cello. The English text remains melodic context, not proof of sung vocals. Long bows, delicate slides, ornaments and a warm room are its expressive brief. This 5:03 source has its own identity beside the erhu editions.
