A language can open a small door.
Esperanto / English / Mandarin / French · klezmer male-voice direction
Faded stamps, a station, a suitcase and the sea surround a letter still warm. Four languages take turns answering; the bridge admits language cannot save the world alone, but can open a small door. The century-long passage is a lyric story, not a claimed archival discovery.
The klezmer direction meets an ornamented, catching male voice with bent clarinet phrases, fiddle, cimbalom, button accordion and frame drum. A rubato doina leads into freylekh dance. The words cross four languages; instrumental tradition does not determine lyric language.
