A stitch of moonlight, a thread of Jiangnan.
Mandarin · minimalist process-music direction · marimba and vibraphone · 84 BPM
A small bridge, a stone alley and rain not yet dry gather Jiangnan into tiny stitches. Embroidering a river is impossible, yet it gives longing a shape that can be continued, thread by thread.
The request that high notes not become too perilous describes more than a voice: it sets the lyric’s scale. It asks not for flowers in excess, but for fragrance slowly warming. People unable to share a life may still meet inside a song.
The 84 BPM creative direction uses minimalist process music: interlocking marimba and vibraphone cells with pizzicato strings, celesta, harp, electric organ and guzheng. Mandarin lines are doubled by the same female voice one beat later for gentle phasing. Layers gradually added and then withdrawn echo the repetitions of water and embroidery.

[Intro]
[Pre-Chorus]
[Chorus]
[Instrumental Interlude]
[Verse 2]
[Bridge]
[Final Chorus]
[Outro]
