[Verse 1] You said it was the white blank snow inside a noon dream gold flags in the valley blowing in the big wind I saw a goat flying over two lonely little fish it landed on your shoulder and turned into a small star [Chorus] Two little fish cross the sea the same fresh river water one forgot to look back one hid inside your tears Two little fish cross the sea around the burning reef if they swim to your palm would that buy one call of my name [Verse 2] You said the sky today is thin as a sheet of paper your fingertip traced the cloud's edge and tore it open I heard a bell far off, it struck three times but I only remember you laughing, blowing the time apart [Chorus] Two little fish cross the sea the same fresh river water one forgot to look back one hid inside your tears Two little fish cross the sea around the burning reef if they swim to your palm would that buy one call of my name
