Moon Over Lotus Gate｜英语古风×戏曲旦角｜青瓷·磨砂玻璃·水墨 美术MV
Inside the song and film
Moonlight rests on the eaves, silver light within the pool. A letter whose ink is still wet, a still fan and a lamp give waiting its shape. Moon Over Lotus Gate sings a vow toward the other side of the water.

[Verse 1] White moon on the eaves, silver on the pond. My sleeve holds the wind, my heart holds your name. A lantern sways once, then the courtyard is still. [Pre-Chorus] I walk by the screen, past the cold carved stone. The ink on your letter has not dried in my hands. One step, then another— the gate feels so far. [Chorus] Moon over lotus gate, shine on my waiting face. Moon over lotus gate, carry my vow tonight. If you turn, if you turn, follow this one song home. Moon over lotus gate, keep my love in sight. [Verse 2] The silk fan falls quiet, resting by the bed. I trace old brush marks where your sleeve once lay. A gecko on the wall calls out into the dark. [Pre-Chorus] I listen for hooves on the jade-paved road. I listen for breath at the wooden door. One word, then one glance— the world would change. [Chorus] Moon over lotus gate, shine on my waiting face. Moon over lotus gate, carry my vow tonight. If you turn, if you turn, follow this one song home. Moon over lotus gate, keep my love in sight. [Bridge] When dawn brushes the tiles, I still will not sleep. Even if the river takes your shadow away, my voice will cross water, my heart will remain. [Final Chorus] Moon over lotus gate, shine on my waiting face. Moon over lotus gate, carry my vow tonight. If you turn, if you turn, follow this one song home. Moon over lotus gate, keep my love in sight. Moon over lotus gate, I will be your light.
