Mandarin shidaiqu direction · traditional script, muted brass and gentle female voice
White walls reflect lamplight; an accordion sounds from a home, and a girl’s backward glance meets the narrator’s position. The wish to walk until morning leaves their later relationship unstated. The unusual published line “等冷瓷地點亮” is preserved rather than silently corrected.
The 88 BPM shidaiqu direction pairs muted brass, clarinet, violin, banjo and brushes with a sweet Mandarin female crooner. Mono texture, surface hiss and an old microphone are production ideas, not historical provenance. Traditional script does not imply Cantonese.
