When longing has no words, leave a light.
Mandarin nostalgic-ballad direction · kayokyoku and city-pop colours
A light waits for someone crossing the crowd; an old song and a name kept in a pocket bring time close. Turning back and meeting again remain possibilities, not a compulsory happy ending.
The public brief offers Showa kayokyoku and Japanese city-pop texture, warm electric piano, soft saxophone and old-radio atmosphere in a slow Mandarin ballad. Japanese colour makes neither the words Japanese nor the recording a historical artefact.
